Buy the S9283 Infants’ Gown and Jumpsuit sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. Infants’ gathered gown and wrap-front jumpsuit with gathered lace collar and snap tape closure. Designed for knit fabrics.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following format:

Suggested fabrics: Fleece, cotton knits, cotton jerseys, interlock, velour, stretch terry. A Contrast: Cotton types, satin, broadcloth. C also in cotton knits, flannelette.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: A (XS/S/M/L/XL), which is approx. UK sizes (0-3/6/9/12/18-24 months) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A Gown: Two 3/8″ (1cm) buttons. 3/4 yd. (0.7m) of 3/4″ (2cm) wide elastic. B Jumpsuit: 3.4 yd. (0.7m) of 1/4″ (6mm) wide snap tape; 1 yd. (1.0m) of  1 1/2″ (3.8cm) wide flat eyelet; 1/2 yd. (0.5m) of 1/4″ (6mm) wide double fold bias tape; 1/2 yd. (0.5m) of 3/8″ (1cm) wide ribbon. D Booties: 3/8yd. (0.4m) each of 1/4″ (6mm) wide elastic and 1/2″ (1.3cm) wide single fold bias tape.
