Buy the B7019 Vintage 1950’s Dress sewing pattern from Butterick. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Vintage Butterick 1950’s soft feminine dress with day into evening tendencies. Neckline is enhanced by an interesting tab closing. Sleeves are cut-in-one with bodice. Button closing extends into the wide inverted center pleat of the skirt. Authentic vintage reproduction includes additional sizes and cutting layouts.

Suggested fabrics: Chambray, Crepe, Faille, Linen, Pique, Shantung, Taffeta. Not suitable for fabrics with a diagonal stripe or decided diagonal weave. Interfacing: Lightweight non-fusible.
Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.
Sizing: K5 (8-10-12-14-16), R5 (14-16-18-20-22), which is approx. UK sizes K5 (6 – 14), R5 (12– 20) based on our standardised size chart . Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Thread. 3 1/2 yds. (3.1m) of 1/2″ (1.3cm) seam binding, seven buttons, one larger button for Tab, shoulder pads.
