McCalls M8255 – Contemporary Top Pattern

Description

Buy the M8255 tops sewing pattern from McCalls. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. This pattern features lined princess seam, scoop neck tops. Woven top has a back separating zipper and cropped and hip length options. Views B and C have a scalloped hem finish. Puff, long sleeve and sleeveless options are also included in this pack.

Suggested fabrics: Cotton blends, gingham, linen, sateen. Lining: Lining fabrics, Voile. Interfacing: Lightweight fusible.

Sizing: B5 (8-10-12-14-16), RR (18W-24W), KK (26W-32W), which is approx. UK sizes B5 (6 – 12), RR (14/16– 20/22) KK (24 – 30/32) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A: One 18″ (46cm) separating zipper (adjust to fit). B: One 20″ (51cm) separating zipper (adjust to fit). C,D: One 24″ (61cm) separating zipper (adjust to fit). Also for C: One pkg. of 1/2″ (1.3cm) single fold bias tape. Also for D: 1 yd. (0.95m) of 3/8″ (1cm) wide elastic.
