Our Civvy combines the versitility of the tote with a stowable stabilization strap for those times you need to hold the bag on lock. Part of our Heritage line, the Civvy is built twice with a floating liner, separate wet/dry compartments, zippered main opening, and quick access phone pocket. It’s like the superman of totes.

  Over two decades ago we made our first Chrome bag with a Juki sewing machine, a few yards of industrial-grade nylon, military grade truck tarpaulin, and the commitment to making durable useful gear that works on and off the bike. We didn’t have money to make a buckle that could hold the weight of a loaded messenger bag, so we salvaged seatbelt buckles out of junkyard cars. An icon was born. Our original messenger bag with its seatbelt buckle quickly became a favorite of professional messengers around the world. More importantly, our way of making things was defined. We call it Freedom through limitations.

  People don’t need more stuff, they need better stuff that use less resources. More function, less fashion. We design and build our own things and care about how stuff is made. Everything we make is purpose built. Street-tested by our own crew and professionals around the world. If it doesn’t have a purpose, it’s gone.
