• Water Shield, Obenauf’s extended waterproofing spray, is a non-toxic, odorless formula that is safe for the environment. Due to its higher silicone content, Water Shield lasts much longer than aerosol sprays. Can be used to enhance waterproofing on leather, but we recommend Water Shield be used on smooth leather only as an overcoat after Heavy Duty LP or Leather Oil have been applied. This is because silicone waterproofing is a surfactant and does not have any natural oils needed to restore or preserve full-grain leather.
