Buy the B3860 Girl’s Top, Dress, Shorts and Trousers Dress sewing pattern from Butterick. It’s perfect for a beginner dressmaker. Loose-fitting top, or A-line dress, above mid-knee, has back neck slit. A: narrow hem. C: contrast hem band and purchased trim. Loose-fitting shorts, above mid-knee or above ankle pants, have elastic waist, attached tie and stitched hem.
