Our mantra has always been “when in doubt, go all black”. It’s the colorway that is most unsuspecting, inconspicuous, fits just about any occasion, and not to mention badass. Yet, at night, and on the road where safety matters most, the whole bag turns super bright due to thousands of embedded micro retroreflective dots that sends light, back to its source. Other parts also doesn’t go unchecked, details such as the webbings and trims are treated with 3M® Black reflective finish. You don’t have to dress like a road-worker in order to be visible at night. The Eclipse series does not sacrifice form for the sake of feature, on the contrary, it elevates the aesthetic by making a seemingly stealthy bag, highly functional.

‘The Echelon’ [M] is a 32 liter messenger bag that can expand and compress according to needs, we’ve always been a big fan of messenger bags for it’s aesthetic, practicality, and quick access. However, with heavy loads and long rides, it tends to tire one shoulder. the Echelon [M] messenger bag is our way of addressing that issue. we add a retractable secondary shoulder strap, that when needed, can be whipped out to even the load distribution across both shoulders.
A couple of robust magnetic sliding buckles not only makes opening/closing the flap fast and convenient but also satisfying and addictive. The ambidextrous shoulder strap design of the Echelon accommodates both righties and lefties alike without compromising fit and ergonomics. The Echelon also sports an adequate amount of varying size organization pockets to stash all your daily gadgets and knick-knacks, two extendable straps also included on both sides of the flap to secure items that are too big to put inside the main compartment.
The floating construction of the tarpaulin inner lining makes the bag 100% waterproof, the bag is tough and durable, built for messengers and avid commuters, we managed to pack all those features while maintaining a clean aesthetics, something we’re chuffed to say proudly made in Indonesia.

Hailing from the chaotic streets of Jakarta, Indonesia, Life Behind Bars™ was born as an homage to local discerning riders. Who despite the unnerving environment of the traffic congested and air polluted concrete jungle that is Jakarta, they still find a reason to get on their bikes.
