Buy the M8429 Vintage 1970’s Top and Skirt sewing pattern from McCalls. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. Vintage McCall’s 1970’s top and skirt by Laura Ashley sewing pattern. Top A or B ties at back of neck and has buttoned bands; View B has pleated ruffle. Gathered skirt A or B has pockets in side front seams and left side zipper; View B has ruffle in side front seams and lower ruffle. Authentic Vintage Reproduction includes additional sizes and cutting layouts.

Suggested fabrics: Cotton blends, chambray, challis, lightweight corduroy, lightweight cotton, linen, muslin. Interfacing: Lightweight sew-in, woven or non woven.

Sizing: K5 (8-10-12-14-16) Y5 (18-20-22-24-26) which is approx. UK sizes K5 (6-12), Y5 (14-24) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Thread. Top A,B: Four 1/2″ (1.3cm) buttons. Skirt A,B: One 7″ (18cm) zipper, one 1/2″ (1.3cm) button.
